Host: D&AD Festival 24’, 25’
Since 1962, D&AD has been inspiring a community of creative thinkers by celebrating and stimulating the finest in design and advertising.
For the second year in a row, Kieron has hosted the D&AD Festival 2025 at the Southbank Centre. With a capacity of 900+ guests, this was the biggest festival D&AD have done since 2019. Alongside the CEO of D&AD, Kieron hosted the main stage in the Queen Elizabeth Hall, across the two-day festival.
His role was to host both days which included announcing Masterclass sessions, panel discussions and introducing creators and change makers from across the advertising sector. Speakers included, Gail Bichler (Design Director, The New York Times Magazine), Leland Maschmeyer (Co-Founder & CEO, Collins) and Emma Perkins (Head of LEGO Agency EMEA).
“Kieron was a true natural host of the D&AD festival at the Southbank in the sun last week. As a graphic designer himself he oozed a genuine passion for the people and the work at our festival of creativity. His charm but down to 'earth-ness' engaged our audience and community of passionate creatives, creators and our speakers across the days. Thank you Kieron and we hope to see you again next year.” Dara Lynch (CEO,D&AD)

Panel speaker: PENTAWARDS
In the ever-evolving world of design, diversity and inclusivity are not just ideals—they are essential for innovation and growth.
I was invited by PENTAWARDS to be part of a panel that would delve into the importance and need for a more inclusive design industry, exploring the challenges encountered by people of color, as well as actionable strategies for supporting Black creatives and fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated and nurtured.
Location: ExCeL London

Educational speaker
Over the years, Kieron has been dedicated to mentoring and speaking with students and graduates. He has discussed numerous topics in relation to the creative industry, life after university and his experiences navigating through the industry as a black creative. A few titles of his talks were, ‘The importance of self-directed projects’, ‘The benefits of collaboration’ and ‘Navigating the editorial industry as a person of color’.
I've had the opportunity to speak at various schools, colleges, universities and collaborate with platforms that are designed to encourage and inspire the new wave of designers and creatives. This has included conducting workshops, judging projects and reviewing portfolios.
“Kieron is an excellent and inspiring speaker and designer who has been able to provide valuable and meaningful insights to all levels of our BA Graphic Design students. Our students really appreciated the honest and thoughtful presentation as they consider different roles both in graphic design related careers and also around wider graphic design and communication contexts. Kieron is extremely responsive, reliable and a pleasure to work with.” -Eloïse Parrack, Course Leader
