Olga & Kay is a partnership between myself and freelance Photographer, Olga Kott, which started back in 2016.

We both have an interest in combining our skill sets to create impactful work, which explores telling powerful stories through design and film.

Touch Magazine was a collaboration between us and Homeless Heroes Aid.

Most of us can see how people can be very hostile towards those who are homeless. With this in mind, we wanted to bridge a gap between the public's perception, in particular young people, and how they view homelessness and stigma attached to it.

Olga & Kay, HHA, Nia (my sister,16) and her friend Esha (16), travelled around different parts of London and spoke with many different people. With their permission, we recorded every conversation and transcribed it for the magazine.

To everyone featured, we made it our goal to leave a copy of the magazine at their local community centre, so they can see their story and others in print.

The magazine was not for selling purposes. It was created to be an educational tool, which Olga and I would share with young people when we give talks and conduct workshops. Read the magazine in full here.

Over the years, we've had the pleasure of speaking at various schools, colleges and universities in London. This has been made possible through our collaborations with local boroughs.
